Join Me! Join Us! by Germaine Fraser

Dear Authentic Movement (and Qigong) colleagues all over the world,
We are a group of AM practitioners, who have moved together annually for several years in different countries.  At this time, we get together in another beautiful place, Burdag-Mazury, Poland.
Once again, we want to share our experience of being connected to the AM-community world wide and invite you to join our movement tomorrow, Sunday, August 2, at 4:30 p.m. central european time in a Long Distance Authentic Movement Circle. If you would like to join us, here is the description of the movement sequence:
5 min: Meditation with a candle lit in room
20 min: Movement-- Connect to yourself, open your awareness to include the space that you’re in, and eventually your peers you are moving with.
10 min: Transition time (writing, drawing...)
20 min: Movement-- Begin to open your awareness to all the other movers around the world. Follow your inner impulses in relationship to this awareness of the larger collective.
10 min: Transition time (writing, drawing...).
We invite you to be part of the sharing as well. Please write one word, one sentence, a drawing, a picture and send it to one or all three of the following:
1.  AM Community blog/ Moving Journal blog:  http://authenticmovementcommunity.blogspot.com/
2.  FB page of VIII International Authentic Movement Peer Gathering
3.  FB page of Authentic Movement Community blog https://www.facebook.com/groups/48153313102/.

On behalf of the 8th International peer Gathering of AM practitioners,
The organizers: Ingrid Baart (Netherlands), Martina Mueckler (Austria), Julia Morozowa (Netherlands), Katarzyna Danska (Poland), Izabela Guzek (Poland)

Thank you for this opportunity to practice having a long distance movement session with all of you today. The structure you provided was so straight forward and easy to follow. I have written as a creative forming and I am containing that for now to see what I am moved to share later. But I do hope to post my drawing of a hammock, because that is an image that is used in Contemplative Dance to talk about a safe container for all of us. This invitation from the International Gathering is for me and was for me in my movement session an extension of the safe hammock from my Week 2 experience with Contemplative Dance. With deep gratitude to all for the containers that allow authentic movement explorations. ~~~~Elizabeth
